Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof, national parking and commercial roofing contractors, recently announced the launch of their VIBE Women’s Empowerment Group.
Founded by Business Development Manager Lana Halzel and Project Coordinator Ashley Kuzlik, VIBE provides a platform for female colleagues to network, share experiences, and support each other both personally and professionally.
“Paving and roofing is a male-dominated industry,” Halsell explains, “and Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof have the unique advantage that 42% of our team are women, and that number continues to grow. The women in our organization bring valuable perspectives, and VIBE leverages that mindset to drive results. This not only helps our business, but it also inspires others.”
VIBE co-founder Kuzlik added that while it’s not uncommon for women to work in the construction industry, the empowerment group is taking it to the next level.
“Our mission is to help women realize their full potential and promote the strength and success of women in the construction industry,” she said. “Through this encouragement, we hope to see more women employed and further diversify the industry.”
Throughout the year, VIBE members plan and participate in a series of events, programs and activities aimed at empowering women across all industries through engagement, skill-building, networking and mentoring. The group meets once a month to strategize future initiatives and actively seeks guest speakers from the retail facilities industry.
