Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany has consistently promoted female empowerment and has been praised by Korean netizens.

Tiffany has received widespread praise for its efforts to promote women’s empowerment.

In online forums, netizens discussed Girls’ Generation member Tiffany’s outspoken stance on women’s rights, with the original poster sharing screenshots from her North American tour in which Tiffany appeared to be particularly energetic.

Netizens explained that one of the reasons Tiffany was so excited on one particular day during her tour was to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Onstage, Tiffany spoke enthusiastically to the audience, raising her hands in celebration and thanking them for attending the show. She explained why the day was special to her and urged everyone to remember the importance of International Women’s Day.

The Korean caption that accompanied the screenshot quoted Tiffany praising the incredible and courageous women around the world – her “sisters, partners, mothers, grandmothers, leaders” – as well as all the men who support them.

She said that thanks to this support “change will continue to happen” and encouraged everyone to keep moving forward so that together we can all shout “women, women, women.”

In a message shared on Pixid on International Women’s Day, Tiffany wrote in the caption of a YouTube video: “To all the teenage girls out there… and to Girls’ Generation… I send my support and encouragement to all women everywhere.”

Tiffany emphasized the importance of March for this reason during an appearance on MMTG, hosted by Jeje, saying that she is blazing a “new path” and noting that there are a lot of “bossy women” among the on-site staff.

“Women working in the field, I respect you,” she said, also mentioning “women empowerment” in the segment.

In the comments section, Korean netizens reflected on Tiffany’s journey and the importance of having so many women in her industry today:

“The sight of these women, who started out as trainees in Korea as middle school students in the 2000s, debuted as members of Girls’ Generation at a young age, and are now working as the main screenwriters, directors, and cameramen, is sure to evoke deep and unique emotions.”
