Kayla Noonan, 22, died on July 25, 2022, at her Burlington home. After her death, Kayla’s family donated some of her belongings to Steps to End Domestic Violence. Since 2022, Steps has been increasing its presence across the state. Now, with the organization’s support, her family has launched the Kayla Noonan Memorial Fund. The fund will support education and prevention programs. “We offer community advocate trainings several times a year, as do other organizations across the state, letting people know how to recognize the signs and how to support victims,” said Executive Director Nicole Kubon.
